When you connect this server to Claude, you submit an Apify API token through the consent
form. We send that token to Apify's /v2/users/me endpoint once, to confirm it's
valid and to read your Apify username. We do not collect your name, email, or any other personal
information beyond what Apify's API returns for that check.
Your Apify token is stored as part of an OAuth grant managed by Cloudflare's workers-oauth-provider library. It is end-to-end encrypted at rest, keyed on the access token issued to Claude — we cannot read it from storage without a valid, active session. It is never logged and never stored in plaintext.
Each time Claude calls one of this connector's tools, your Apify token is used to run the Reddit Data Engine for Claude (MCP) Actor on your Apify account and fetch the results, which are returned to Claude for that single request. We don't store, log, or retain the Reddit data returned by any tool call — it passes through this server and is not persisted.
We keep a short-lived counter (request count per 5-minute window, keyed to your Apify username) purely to enforce a per-account rate limit. These counters expire automatically and are not used for any other purpose.
Your token is shared with exactly one third party: Apify, to run the Actor and verify the token's validity. We do not share it with anyone else. Apify's own handling of your account and Reddit data is governed by Apify's privacy policy.
Your token is retained until you disconnect this connector in Claude's connector settings, or until the OAuth grant expires. Disconnecting revokes and deletes the stored grant, including your token, immediately.
